DC Trip

I was in DC this weekend to visit a friend from high school who lives down there. We went to the National Gallery and then the Renwick after. The National Gallery was breath taking, and we even saw one of the Titian’s I studied in one of my Georgetown Art History courses. I enjoyed Fragonard’s pieces the most, he adds emotionality to his mannerist subjects in the most elegant styles. In the Renwick we saw more conceptual pieces one in which the artist made an beautiful sculpture out of recycled plastic waste!
